Turkey Trot Heroes

There are some Turkey Trot Runners who want to do a little more than just contribute through their entry fee.  These are our Turkey Trot Heroes.

The generosity of our Turkey Trot Heroes has made Tallahassee a better place and helped Turkey Trot donate $45,000 total (approximately $15,000 each) to the Shelter, The Boys and Girls Clubs and the Refuge House for at least three years in a row.

In addition, many runners brought nonperishable food items, clothes, toiletries and much more. They also supported the Kent Vann Partners in Excellence Award Program helping to reach out to our middle and elementary schools. Let’s do it again!

Be an Official Turkey Trot Hero

You can become a Turkey Trot Hero by donating as little as $30 to our Turkey Trot Heroes fund. (This donation is in addition to your race entry fees.) You can specify (among the Boys and Girls Club, The Refuge House and the Shelter/Kearney Center) where your donation goes, or divide it among the three entities. As a Turkey Trot Hero you will receive a special commemorative gift from us and you will also receive a special gold star that you can proudly wear on your race bib on Thanksgiving Day!  To be a Turkey Trot Hero look for the entry beside the Turkey Trot Hero line on the registration page.

Be an Official Turkey Trot Superhero

And if you want to reach for an even higher level of $50, you can be a Super Hero.

Most importantly, your generosity will make a difference in someone’s life. You will have the opportunity to become a Turkey Trot Hero during the registration process; however, if you are unable to attend, you may still contribute by mailing a check or contribute online (no additional processing fees) at .  Donate here.
